Behold I send you wise men and prophets…Mt. 23:34.
I thank God for C.S. Lewis and the prophetic way in which he still speaks (the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy). It is not for the likes of me to aspire to the lofty realms of his intellect but he is undoubtedly a great intellectually prophetic voice without modern parallel, yet…….he that is least in the kingdom is greater than he. (John the Baptist). Mt 11:11.
I say that only by way of the principle, yet, come the hour, come the man. God has voices TODAY that are bringing to pass more and more substance to prophecy, even ( and I’m sure he would be the first to admit it) more than the great C.S.Lewis enjoyed and I can declare this because we are all on the same ground of faith. To God be the glory. Again I have lifted much of the inspiration of these thoughts from the Mirror Bible, and not the least, from Mike Parsons.
